At RWA providing students with the opportunity to feel a sense of accomplishment is key to our school culture. We do this by providing student led learning and a vast range of extra-curricular activities and competitions.
Accomplishment is important to build the students’ self-esteem and confidence. Being proud of yourself is just another way of saying you have a strong sense of self-worth. Students who are proud of themselves tend to have a greater passion for life, feel content and grateful and are more motivated to achieve their goals. These students tend to attract more success and they are more willing to take risks and be innovative.
RWA students have the opportunity to feel a sense of accomplishment in a number of fields from
academics, Sports, Dramatic Arts, Art, Duke of Edinburgh, National and International competitions and field trips. RWA has a strong culture of celebrating success using various methods from student of the month awards, principals’ lunch invitation, student achievement board and other day to day incentives to recognise accomplishment.
