Eco-Schools UAE

The Eco-Schools programme engages children and young people in key issues including the environment, sustainability, global citizenship and the value of a low carbon future.  Eco-Schools is an international initiative designed to encourage whole-school action for the environment. It is an environmental management tool, learning resource and recognised award scheme.  RWA is proud to be awarded the highest Green Flag status.  

 

 

 


Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

RWA is a licensed centre, offering the world’s leading youth achievement award for young people aged 14-24 years carrying out the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. This is an exciting self-development programme available to young people equipping them with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world. The Award concept is one of individual challenge designed to encourage young people to develop into responsible, active citizens who will positively contribute towards society.

It presents a balanced, non-competitive and enjoyable programme of voluntary activities which encourage personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility and service to the community.

 

 

 


Middle East IB Association

RWA is one of the founding schools of the Middle East IB Association (MEIBA).

MEIBA is the Middle East IB Association of Schools.  It aims to provide help and support to schools and institutions of education within the Middle East and neighboring countries which offer, or are considering offering, the International Baccalaureate (IB).  It assists in the promotion of the IB mission and its objectives, and acts as a forum for debate and consultation.
